As part of our ongoing project to upgrade the gas network in Broughty Ferry, we're beginning work on our final phases in the Queen Street area from Monday 23 September.
Some road closures and temporary traffic lights will be in place at times to ensure everyone's safety and allow our engineers to access our gas pipes.
We understand this is a busy area and will do everything we can to keep disruption to a minimum for motorists, businesses and the local community.
We'll be updating this page as our work progresses and provide details on future phases closer to their start dates.
Project update: 7 March 2025
Our project in Broughty Ferry is progressing well and at the start of the year we continued our work in Queen Street.
Our work at the junction with Church Street and and Fort Street is now complete.
From tomorrow (Saturday 8 March), we'll be working on our next phase of work between the junction of Queen Street/Camphill Road, and the junction of Queen Street/St Vincents Street/Monifieth Road.
An eastbound road closure will be in place during this five-week phase of our work.
The junction of Queen Street and Camphill Road will also be closed. Access will be maintained via Gray Street, Hermitage Road, Panmure Street, and Abertay Street.
Local diversion routes will be in place during the road closure and we'll be doing everything we can to minimise disruption.
