Our Customer Service Team has been recognised for leading the way in everything they do with four wins at the prestigious CCA Global Excellence Awards.
During the ceremony, which was held in Glasgow, we won gold in the Team of the Year and Innovation in Customer Service categories. We were also awarded Bronze for Global Standard Achievement, meanwhile our Director of Customer Service Maureen McIntosh was given special recognition winning the Inspiring Leader – Women in Leadership Award.
The unique CCA Awards celebrate the best of customer service and mark the highest achievements by organisations across Britain who put their customers first. Our Customer Service, Careline and engineering teams are committed to improving the experience of customers who we help every day of the year.
Our Director of Customer Experience Maureen McIntosh, who attended the ceremony, said: “We’re delighted to have been recognised at the CCA Global Excellence awards with these wins for looking after our customers. The success is down to the hard work and commitment of our people who strive to give a 10/10 service every day.
“Our people never walk away from someone in need and do everything they can to support our most vulnerable customers every day, and these customer award wins reflect that. Keeping the most vulnerable customers across our regions safe and warm is an undoubted priority in the current climate and we’re particularly proud that the outstanding work by our teams has been acknowledged at a time like this.”
We’ve already pledged to help 250,000 vulnerable customers between 2021 and 2026, thanks to the Vulnerability and Carbon Monoxide Allowance (VCMA) which has been made available by our regulator Ofgem.
